The “Híbrido – Festival Brasileiro de Videodança” it is na entirely online festival that gathers the artistic expression of the dance, music and the audiovisual. Will be made available for the public official and parallel shows, several autovisual works selected from artists of the whole world.

The videodance as an artistic expression is a relatively new
format, because of the experiments performed especially at the last decades, and with poorly historic registers jointly theoric studies still being developed.

It is understood videodance as a hibrid product made by the junction between dance and audiovisual, having as a primary elemento the movement.

Unlike a simple coreographic video record, the movement at the videodance is created specially for the camera.

The hybridism between the audiovisual and the dance, inpiration for the name given to the festival, it is the final result of the harmonic conversation between moviment, camera, music and edition.

The “Hibrido - Festival Brasileiro de Vídeodança” have as primarly base instigate creation and form a public for this art modality, exploring not just the format itself, but also it´s main segments and dialog between the arts.
